mabuhay lahat ng single!

"True to its name, Giniling Festival's brand of music is influenced by a wide variety of genres (ranging from rock, funk, blues, classical, etc). Formed in 2003, the band has since developed a certain formula for their kick-ass performances: good vibes, stage presence, and musical hubris, combined with the determination to make a lasting mark on the crowd, even if only a single soul is watching. The band members are drawn together by a common pleasure to "entertain" not just the audience but also themselves. The themes of their songs explore the most remote (to the absurd) situations in Philippine society which result in the band's masa appeal. Ultimately, for Giniling Festival, performing is not just about the music, it's also about entertainment. Every show is a festival where everyone's invited to enjoy the music that the band is more than happy to offer."

Here is one of my fave track from thier album.

May kasama ka ba nung Valentine’s Day (wala)

May kayakap ka ba nung Valentine’s Day (wala)
May nagtext ba sa’yo ng “I love you, goodnight”(wala)
May nagsabi na sa’yo na “Baby, last beer mo na yan” (wala)
[repeat Chorus]

mark your calendars

I got a pm last monday from a good friend. Its 10.15am in the morning and that usual day was one of the busiest. However, i still tried my best to say "hi" and made simple " kamusta". But it didnt end there. Better yet, i was a start of a exciting yet toxicated 30 days of my life.

She's getting married... in approximately 30 days. At first, i was congratulating her because ive'd known both of them for quite some time and i know they have plans already, however, it never occurred to me that it would be this year with so limited time left. She told me the whole story of how they came up with a rush marriage plan. And so to make my intro short, shes getting
married in November 15, 34 days from now.

She told me i was the first one she talked with regarding this matter (or maybe i was the only one online that specific time.. hehehe). She asked for my assistance and gladly accepted it. I was really excited for her and i has been my passion to help weddings. We agreed to meet in here place to talk about the plans and details.

Will update this soon.

Advance Congratulations!!!

where angels fall asleep

Concordia Orphanage

4600 Old Sta Mesa St, Sta Mesa Manila.
Home for the homeless angels found along the busy strip of motels in old sta mesa. Ironic.
Some of them are abandoned since birth. They are the end products of unwanted pregnancies, rape cases and poverty.
Concordia Orphanage nurses for 25 babies age ranges from 0-5 yrs old. It has 7 inhouse caregivers.
They operate purely on donations. Sad to say most of these came from foreign visitors. Most of the babies here are from Fabella and PGH and in some cases, those rescued from streets.

Sharing this humbling experience makes me realize scarcity of human love. People are bound to many temptations and vices, wasting times debating for whose to blame. Fighting for money they never even worked for. Yet they dont even realize sectoral necessities. Those who cant voice out their needs. Angels who can only cry when hungry and smile when feed up.

Birthday kasi ni Arlene( on peace sign) dec22, and Ghe (with cap) dec 23.Ngayon lang ulet ako nakabalik sa isang amusement park.Ang saya. Parang gaya nung highschool lang. Nag-iba man, masaya lng. Sabi nga namin, iba ang chemistry naming tatlo. At ngaun magkukumare na kmi. Hate to say this pero we really grown na. Hehehe.. parang whats left is hold on to those memories and enjoy the present as it is. Live.Life.Rock on.\m/

Syempre, i said yes dahil pagkakataon ko ng idetoxify ang sarili ko sa stress sa trabaho at iba pang mga alalahanin.Sobrang excited ako. Ang sabi lang, QC contigent kami dun para magdala ng school supplies for nursery and to conduct basic training sa mga kabataan. Umalis ng Kasilen Bus Terminal ( infront Trinity College in E-Rod) Dec 26, 9PM and arrived in Bontoc ( Capital of Mountain Province) mga 7am. Anim kami.

From Bontoc, we have to travel another one and a half hour to reach Sadangga, a municipality of Bontoc with 8 brgys. We were welcomed by the munipal officials and shared a simple launch with them. There we were also introduced to Evangeline, SK Federation Chairperson of Sadangga. After lunch, we just unloaded our stuff to our foster home and then proceeded to Sadangga High School, located on top of one of the mountains there. Astig.

We had to walk up at least 1hr to get there.(as in akyat.. tantya ko mga 11 floors ang taas nun..)

to be continued.. up na ang friendster.. hehe
